To
establish the source of the problem I performed a simple test, using
two thermometers (a bi-metalic strip dial type, and a wired sensor
probe on a digital multimeter with a temperature function, shown left)
which both
confirmed the problem previously stated.

"Convec", then required temperature from the available number key
options, then press "START", when the "actual oven temperature" is
reached an audible alert and display present a request for the addition
of food. Following this procedure one would expect that a selection of
220C would deliver that, but as the pictures here portray, it's "nowhere
near the mark".
